This interactive dashboard presents the 2023 population estimates for Maryland’s Mid-Shore counties—Caroline, Dorchester, and Talbot—based on the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates. The data is visualized using a color-coded donut chart, showing both total population and the proportional share by county.

The total population across all three counties is 103,540, with:

  • Talbot County accounting for the largest share at 36.35% (37,707 people),
  • followed by Caroline County at 32.21% (33,406),
  • and Dorchester County at 31.44% (32,612).


This tool provides a quick and intuitive overview of the regional population distribution, making it useful for planners, grant writers, policymakers, and researchers engaged in demographic analysis and regional resource planning.
