The Mid-Shore Public Safety Communicator is an interactive, publicly accessible dashboard that empowers community leaders, policymakers, and residents with timely, transparent insights into crime trends across Maryland’s Mid-Shore region. Developed through a regional partnership, this tool brings clarity and context to local public safety data through rich, filterable visualizations.

Users can explore crime incidents and offenses broken down by category—including offenses against persons, property, and society—and track how these vary over time. The dashboard also offers demographic insights into offenders, such as age, race, sex, and ethnicity, and allows for in-depth filtering by geography, agency, offense type, and year. Interactive maps, bar charts, and pie charts provide layered views of incident characteristics like location type and time of occurrence.

Whether you’re interested in trends in narcotics offenses on public roadways or examining assault data by age group, the dashboard makes it easy to isolate, analyze, and understand the information that matters most to your community.
